KIDS CLUB

The Kids Club is an initiative of our church in one of the most dangerous parts of town called La Victoria. We have the privilege to lead it. This community has a lot of crime and poverty, but they suffer from something far deeper than the lack of goods. It is the lack of self-esteem, compassion, and self-worth. In a place where there is a great deal of drug trafficking, robbery, and murder, the church is rising like a lighthouse in the midst of hopelessness. We believe that the church in La Victoria is going to change not only the present generation but also the next one.

The Kids Club takes place every Saturday with a focus on games, worship, and the word of God for kids that have a hard time coming into a kids church service format.

Our vision is to provide them not only with spiritual food but we are looking into a holistic program that will enable the kids to do better at school, in their families, and even physically. We have an after-school program where volunteers from our church get to help the kids with homework. Thursdays we have a physical education class where kids get to do a lot of exercises and understand that part of living a better life is keeping our bodies healthy.
